High-Temperature Furnace HT 16/16

The High-Temperature Furnace HT 16/16 is a robust, precision-engineered laboratory furnace designed for thermal processes up to 1600 °C. Manufactured by Nabertherm, it is ideal for applications such as ceramic sintering, materials research, powder metallurgy, and heat treatment requiring consistent and uniform high heat. The HT 16/16 features top and bottom MoSi₂ (molybdenum disilicide) heating elements, ensuring fast heat-up times and excellent temperature uniformity across the chamber. Its fiber-insulated inner lining provides energy efficiency while maintaining a cool outer surface through a double-walled, fan-cooled steel housing.

Exceptional Temperature Capability Maximum operational temperatures of 1600 °C (HT 16/16), 1750 °C (HT 16/17), and up to 1800 °C for HT 16/18—ideal for sintering, heat treatment, ceramics, and material research
Premium Fibre Insulation High-quality ceramic fibre lining with backup insulation ensures low external temperatures and optimal thermal uniformity (±6 °C at 1450 °C per DIN 17052‑1)
Double‐Shell Cooled Housing Fan-cooled outer casing keeps the surface cool and increases operator safety keison.co.uk +15
Robust Construction & Floor Reinforcement Built on a reinforced base to support heavy loads; chamber floor protected, especially in models ≥ HT 16/16
Thoughtful Door Design Chain-guided parallel-swinging door with labyrinth seal minimizes heat loss; two-door design available for larger models
Modular Options & Controls Features a programmable P570 controller (50 programs × 40 segments), USB data logging (NTLog Basic), thermocouple inlets, and safety package options
